"Fantastic cottage with a lovely host, a 10 out of 10"

The cottage is a very nice mix of modern and traditional cottage feel. It is very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Location is great with many outdoor activities not far drive away. Instruction to check in and check out, how everything works are all very clear. The host is very friendly, extremely helpful and informative.

"Lovely place, good location to drive to many Peak District sights, great communication."

We have a low car and the access to the parking is steep, we had a few scrapes.

"A comfortable base from which to visit the area."

Great location in the centre of Stoney and a few hundred metres from arguably the best crag in the country. Professionally maintained and cleaned properly, but most importantly really good communication from Dan.

"Cute and Sweet"

Lovely location and a cosy space to relax in. With lovely attention to detail, such as the night lights on the landing so we could see where we were going at night.

The only down side was that the blinds in one of the bedrooms were a little thin for the early morning sunshine and my friend woke up at dawn with the sun. But this didn't spoil our stay.

"Very enjoyable stay"

very comfortable inside, nice interior and good location for pub and fish and chip shop. the moon inn is fantastic!

It is on the roadside of a very busy road, so lots of road noise into the night. It was also lacking basic supplies, had to buy our own pepper and sugar for example.
