VILLA BAGUS - adults only hideaway

The location is perfect — slightly away from the busiest areas, which makes it very quiet and relaxing. • The bungalows are cute, charming and surrounded by lush greenery. • The pool is lovely and perfect to chill during the day. • Free coffee available all day — such a nice touch! • The staff is friendly and helpful, and Marco gave us great recommendations so we could fully enjoy Gili Air. • There is a small parking area for a scooter or bicycle. • Breakfast is included, and overall quite nice.

The breakfast taste could be improved — that’s probably the only thing I would mention. • Our bathroom sink was slightly leaking, but it was a very minor issue compared to the overall great experience.

This place is an absolute gem! A beautifully-maintained haven with the most amazing team of staff. The manager is incredibly attentive and provided the most helpful overview/introduction I’ve ever received at check-in, and the other staff are equally friendly and attentive (and make delicious breakfasts, too!). The pool and outdoor areas are lush and comfortable, and there is an incredible attention to detail in the rooms - they’ve thought of everything, from bags/hats/towels to take to the beach, to bottled water in the bathrooms for brushing your teeth, and even a mosquito coil that you can burn when you’re sitting outside. I could have comfortably stayed here for weeks! Whilst not located directly on any of the beaches, the location is still great. I actually preferred this. It’s right right in the middle of the island so it’s a little away from the chaos main area but close enough to enjoy it all (and to get to enjoy both sunrise and sunset - and really anywhere on the island - within walking distance). It’s also really close to some of the most amazing restaurants on the island.

Loved the outdoor bathroom - just a nice vibe. However, as with all outdoor bathrooms around Lombok, an outdoor bathroom also means you get a few little bugs & small geckos etc at times. Very clean though as the staff are willing to thoroughly clean your room daily, and nothing that got anywhere near me, so it’s not really an issue.

The staff were amazing, marco and team went out there way and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Perfect location for the island. Breakfast was lovely.
