Ideal accommodation for our road trip, being self-contained

A few things nèed repairing. 1 side bedlight had no plug, lights on rangehood blown. Not big issues, but require attention..

The establishment has beautiful see views

We booked the establishment for 2 nights. 2 hours before arrival the host calls to inform us that there is a water leak. They had summoned a plumber who will only attend to the problem after 3 pm but it's not guaranteed that the job will be completed on the day. Imagine having travelled from Johannesburg the previous night and half a day with kids and all that you need is get to the establishment to refresh yourself. Upon arrival we found the plumber with his jackhammers drilling the walls and dust accumulated inside everywhere in the apartment. We had to call the host, demanded a refund and hustle for a last minute booking around town.

The location is far from the center of the town and its not a private secure location

Having to drive through an informal settlement was a bit scary
