Desert Rain -Floating House

The house was immaculate. So well decorated and welcoming. The views are to die for. Wifi was very good. I never had any problem streaming tv on my phone. No traffic at the end of this road, very quiet.

Amazing location with perfect views. Loved the floating bed and the moon rise over the mountain. We never closed the huge electric blinds. The entire home was perfect, so sad to leave but will return. Jose was a great host and very know knowledgeable of the local area.

We loved our stay! It was perfect for two couples. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Due to our flight getting bumped a few hours we got in at night which was tricky, but once we got in and settled we sat and talked by the fire pit before bed. Daylight greeted us with beautiful landscape. The wall of windows that open for seamless indoor/outdoor living was awesome. We made breakfast and ate on the deck. Oh, and the toilets! Our first experience with toilet luxury, lol. Heated seats and more….Got us all laughing 😂. Wish we had longer to stay than just one night. It was great!

The bean bags and the swing bed was truly amazing , we kind wished the protectors screen would have slid down. But we didn’t even need it from how beautiful the view and your home is .

My partner and I had a nightmare experience, this was certainly not an “Epic Stay” and the hosts did not make it right. Please read. We arrived at 8PM, upon our arrival to the house we could see an open suitcase with clothes out, food and weed on the counter, and clothes all over the floor. We contacted our hosts who stated the renters of the “Dome” (another rental on the same property) accessed our unit not knowing it was ours. Upon walking into the unit it reeked of weed, there were thongs, a bra, men’s shorts, clothes scattered over the blankets, floor, couch. Each bed appeared to have been used, each washroom was used with dirty make up pads left behind, there were roaches and joints on the counter. I decided to call the host and tell them we were no longer comfortable staying in the dirty unit as it had been trashed and didn’t feel safe with other people having our door code. We found out that the host uses the exact same door code to our unit to the “Dome” renters. That’s like giving a master room key to someone at a hotel. The host was trying to give me a “credit” refund after our night had been ruined, I had to ask for a full refund to my credit card. After driving 4.5 hours to this unit, having someone else trash our unit, and then having to find a last minute overpriced hotel at the end of the night, I was really hoping that the hosts would acknowledge the setback and situation they put us in and make it right by us by atleast paying for our hotel since they left us without a place, however they didn’t - do not book here, I get that mistakes happen but they didn’t make it right.

Very zen, clean, centrally located, great view, host very accommodating (the most accommodating I’ve encountered to this day), all the amenities you should need and if not, a Walmart less than 10 minutes away.

I would have liked a little directional book. I didn’t know what to do with the trash. I didn’t know how to leave the towels, bedding etc…. However, we did encounter the very friendly lady that came to clean and she reassured us she is there to make it as perfect for the next guest as she did for us. Thank you to her. (I forgot her name, oops) Could use a cutting board.
