Vinery Flat

It was certainly a unique but comfortable property. It was very well equipped with everything one could want, although a hand towel, as well as a bath towel would have been good. The location was different but very acceptable and safe, with parking outside the apartment. It was easy to prepare meals, as it had every possible piece of equipment, including a microwave, fridge, air-fryer, crockery and cutlery and so on.

Although it was ideal for one person like me, or even two, I feel that if there were the four people it said it could hold, it would have been very cramped; this would especially be the case if the stay was for more than a weekend.

Communication was good. The accommodation was as mentioned on the website.

Health and safety hazard. The accommodation is not in a safe place . There are metal gates covering the front doors to houses In the street. Upon arrival, you have to go down steep slippery steps in the dark. Once you manage to get to the front door, the smell of the drain next to the door hits you along with cat piss. You then have to enter basement room sideways. You are then hit with the smell of numerous air fresheners. There is mould forming around the front door of this damp room. There are a few salt boxes around to catch the damp. The toilet rolls were unusable due to being damp. If you manage to get into the shower, be aware there is a step directly outside, which is not obvious. I came out of the shower and nearly broke my ankle on the step down. The finish on the property is poor and amateurish. It should not be allowed for human habitation due to having to breathe in mould and damp which can cause you issues.

Cosy little apartment. Was absolutely freezing upon arrival - might have been a good idea to turn the heating on in the middle of winter for arrival of guests. There are heaters in there so once they were on it was warm. Warm shower and location good for where I needed to be. Bed was pretty comfy. Was reasonably priced for what it is though

Bit of an odd layout and seemed a bit dingy when I first walked in as it is a basement flat. I got used to it after a while. Using a phone torch whilst carrying bags and stuff isn't ideal so could do with some lights outside the steep steps. Also a lot of banging from upstairs at one point. Not sure if it was next door or this house - literally sounded like someone was moving all the furniture! Not sure I see the point of 2 double beds. Its fine for one person but not really a practical space for multiple guests. It would be better to have a sofa or table and chairs here.
