Auster House Santorini

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The property was exactly as advertised- spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the host, George. He went above and beyond in every way, always available to answer questions and offer thoughtful recommendations on what to see and do around the island. The level of care and attention to detail was unmatched. As a special touch for our honeymoon, he surprised us with a romantic setup complete with wine, chocolates, rose petals, and a heartfelt handwritten note which was such a meaningful and unforgettable gesture. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We can not recommend this place enough!

Ein toller Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer. Großer Wohnbereich und sehr bequeme Betten. George war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Bushaltestelle vor der Tür. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub.

Merci a Georges de nous avoir reçu si gentiment. Notre séjour était parfait. L'appartement était spacieux et conforatble, la terrasse bien agréable et à 3 min de la plage a pied. Ce qui est bien agréable; Merci pour les petits déjeuner bien fourni et toutes les explications reçues.

We had an amazing time at Auster House and we were lucky to have a welcoming and warm experience! George was very professional and gave us clear indications that made arrival really smooth. He was flexible enough to allow an earlier check-in because of our early arrival. George welcomed us upon arrival and shared a bunch of his favourite places that we tried and were amazing. We were lucky to have his input and make the most of our stay. He was always reachable and interested in us enjoying our time. The property is his family home and he knows the island very well. The apartment is beautifully done and it has all the appliances. We didn’t cook there but the kitchen really had everything! They even left us the fridge full of food for breakfast! Very generous! The bed is very comfortable and the bedrooms very quiet at a small side street with private parking. The beach is just two minutes walk away with black sand and small pebbles. Kamari is a nice location, easy to get to and with a lot of options. It has a nice beach front walk. I totally recommend it to everyone that wants to experience the local hospitality. George and his mum treated us like family!
