Auster House Santorini

This property and owner are AMAZING! nothing was too much trouble for George who was there to help with any queries and lots of personal touches to make you feel welcome. The apartment itself is STUNNING in a beautiful safe location with plenty of bars/restaurants and supermarkets close by. There is a bus stop to Fira less than 10mins walk from the property.I cannot recommend this property enough 10/10

I really enjoyed the stay and the host. The house was very clean, we were greeted in a very generous way. We arrived late, and the host had everything prepared for my kids. We really appreciated everything he did for us. One of the best places I have stayed at. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone as it was clean, beautiful view, and very warm welcome. If you are looking to stay at beautiful place with outstanding service than this is the place for you. I am very happy overall and satisfied with everything

George was fantastic, he left great breakfast provisions and provided heaps of info on the area. He also helped us with a transfer from the port. House is beautiful and well set up.

George was an amazing host. He met us personally and offered help with everything we needed. Offered helpful recommendations. He helped with our transfer from the airport and even carried our luggage to the taxi. A complementary bottle of wine was waiting for us at the flat together with a fridge full of goodies for breakfast. Anything missing was replenished. The flat is very clean, spacious and has amazing views of the sea; awesome views of sunrise if you are an early riser. Very well located, near the sea and near great restaurants and shops. George even went out of his way to purchase the best fava for my parents when they expressed interest. We recommend George's flat and we would be happy to return to it when we are next in Kamari.

The apartment was spacious, beautifully clean, and felt both luxurious and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, ditto the sofa and chairs, and it was lovely to have the balcony with the sea view. The location was perfect, just a 2 minute walk to the beach and close to all Kamari’s bars and restaurants, but still peaceful and quiet. There was also a supermarket and amazing bakery just a minute away. Fresh fruit, tea, coffee, milk and essentials were all provided, and we received a warm welcome from George and his mother. The apartment was cleaned during our one-week stay. George also made some excellent recommendations which ensured we made the most of our time in Santorini. We had a wonderful holiday and very much hope to return to Auster House.

Some more coat hangers / places to hang towels would have helped, but this is a minor thing and we had no real complaints.

We had the pleasure of staying in George’s spacious apartment in Santorini, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. The location is absolutely perfect, situated just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by some of the island’s best restaurants. There’s even a delightful bakery nearby where you can grab fresh pastries each morning! The apartment itself is equipped with everything you could need. It’s incredibly spacious, with plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring the island. But what really made our stay special was George himself. He was the perfect host, always available to give helpful tips and recommendations on the best things to do and see on the island. He gave us a detailed explanation of all the attractions, from hidden gems to popular spots, which really helped us make the most of our time in Santorini. His warm and welcoming attitude made the entire experience even more enjoyable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this location! The three of us fit perfectly in the accommodation, and everything we needed was right there. Even when a small issue arose, the host promptly fixed it within the day. The host generously provided us with high-quality local Greek products, which made for delicious breakfasts. He also shared a wealth of information about things to do on the island of Santorini and specifically in Kamari. Thanks to his recommendations, we felt right at home on the island. We especially appreciated his gastronomic tips – the food was incredibly tasty and the prices were very reasonable. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, offering easy access to all the attractions and activities we wanted to explore. The host's hospitality truly made our trip memorable, and we felt like we were staying with a friend rather than just renting a place.

We loved the house. Very beautifully decorated with all facilities needed for a family. Very clean and well maintained. The host Mr. George and his mother were very kind and sweet. They provided us with a very good breakfast which was available in the house and was refilled once in 3 days (fruits, milk, fruit juices, tea/coffee, fruit cakes, rusks, bread, butter, jam, cheese..etc.). The house is in very good location. It is very close to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries and bus stop for the private tour buses. We also met one of the stray cat which was a regular visitor at this house. My daughters were very attached to this cute cat which was very friendly. We were moved by the hospitality of our host. Mr. George helped us to plan our visits in Santorini. We highly recommend this place if you are planning to have a pleasant stay in a best location with your family.
