Great Location, space the apartment provided and its facilities

Decor was a bit harsh for our taste.

Very well designed and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating, greeting us upon arrival and setting up an airport shuttle early in the morning. Great communication. Property is relatively close to main attractions.

The exterior area is a little jarring. The suite is located in the parking lot of an industrial looking area. There is little curb appeal and is away from any activity at night, which could seem daunting for solo travellers walking home. It takes four keys to get from the property entrance into the actual room, so not ideal.

We loved the apartment. Well decorated, clean, comfortable. Great location, right in the middle of city centre. The proximity to the park was a bonus. Staff (although we met only one) were friendly, flexible and accommodating. The car service to the airport was very good, although it turned up one hour earlier than expected. Luckily, we were ready.

Catania is a very busy city, a bit overwhelming. Also quite dirty.

The room and facilities were of a high standard. Mirko, with whom we communicated over several weeks setting up a taxi to bring us from the airport, was always prompt to reply and facilitated our arrival, delayed as we were by events in Catania that day.

We were very happy with the space but initially were unsure of what we had booked, thinking that it would be a hotel rather than an apartment in a small block of flats. We were there only overnight, so did not have a proper opportunity to explore the surrounding area. The entry to the Carbone XXI was via a car park at the rear of the apartments so arriving there at night was initially disconcerting. However, Mirko was excellent in taking us to our accommodation and explaining the set-up.

Great apartment. We arrived very late. 1am. They still met us there and showed us everything. Even where to get something to eat at that time of morning. They booked a transfer from and back to the airport for us. Cheaper than a taxi. Will definitely go back and stay again. Location was also fantastic.
