Aayu Chulia - Chulia St, George Town

10/10 stay at Aayu Chulia. Everything was smooth from start to finish. Their response time was incredibly fast, and any question we had was answered almost immediately, which made the whole stay easy and stress-free. The self check-in process was simple and convenient. The staff were some of the friendliest we have met, always warm, helpful, and quick to assist with anything we needed. We also really appreciated the late checkout option, which was super helpful and made a big difference for our travel plans. The cleanliness was excellent. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The location is another huge plus, very central and convenient, yet still quiet enough to rest well. The air conditioning was impressively silent, which made sleeping very comfortable. Even if you book a room with a shared bathroom, it is not an issue at all because there are four different shared bathrooms, so we never had to wait. We also loved the supply of hot and cold drinking water, as well as coffee and tea, which was a really nice extra touch. For the price, the service was exceptional. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again.

The air conditioning worked really well, it was centrally located, self check in was easy, and the bed was fine.

There was a slight smell that came from the bathroom after using the shower.

De ligging van de accommodatie is perfect! Je ligt meteen aan love lane en er zijn genoeg eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Ook ben je vanuit hier snel bij de pier. In de gemeenschappelijke ruimte staat een watertap voor koud gefilterd water, dat is fijn met de hitte!

Wij hadden de kamer met een stapelbed. Helaas kraakte deze enorm en voelde het niet stabiel. De muren van de kamer waren ook heel dun waardoor we veel geluidsoverlast hadden. Het personeel heeft ons wel een andere kamer aangeboden, maar hebben dit niet aangenomen omdat we het gevoel hadden dat dit niks zou oplossen. De douches vonden we ook niet mega schoon en het water werd niet warm.
