Rustic Retreat cottage

Cosy inside, good location

No logs, kindling, fire lighters to light fire. No utensils or glove to tend to fire. Heating in bedrooms car on regardless of thermostat number, bedroom far to hot to sleep! Heated access rear garden. No corkscrew. Shower near impossible to get to right temperature. Top of dresser loose. Place is just failing on some basics and needs a little TLC in places. Shame as we were really excited about our stay and felt sadly disappointed.

We loved how the cottage was presented. A lovely welcoming christmas tree. Superbly warm, modern, and very classy.

Nothing to dislike, just a little traffic noise, but wouldn't put me off booking again.

This property is fantastic, the best booking.com experience I have had, owner was great, location was nice and quiet and the bedding was amazing.

Lots of character at this charming house featuring wooden beams and fireplace. Great location and a lovely river walk into the centre of Thirsk for coffee. The house was very well equipped and we were delighted to see a Christmas Tree. Very nice touch by the host. Hope to return in the future.

No complaints. Everything was perfect.

Old and quaint

Second bedroom very small, but and the end of the day you only sleep there.

Lovely little cottage which had everything we needed for a couple of nights in Thirsk. The master bedroom was nice and large and Jordan and Gill were easy and friendly to communicate with. Comfy sofas and a big TV were great. Parking was no problem and it was a nice stroll into the town. Good food at Bianco in the market place and the nearby Crown & Anchor pub. We really enjoyed our stay.

If I had to be really picky the towels were a bit small but first world problems and all that.
