Condesa Zen

Spacious room and a comfortable bed, lots of shelves/space for things and the fridge and coffee maker added additional convenience. Bathroom right next to the room, meaning you have to step a bit into the living room space, but generally not an issue, and the bathroom isn't shared with the host. Nice high quality towels were provided. Fantastic treatment from Valentín, both before and during our stay - clear communication, easy and accommodating with everything (including a mega late check in), and gave us great tips on what to see.

The surrounding streets can get a bit noisy (traffic), so light sleepers might benefit from ear plugs. A water dispenser would be nice to have, as well as one more lamp for ambient lighting - if I'm being picky.

Après une mésaventure à Mexico, nous avons eu la chance de tomber au dernier moment sur Valentin et sa compagne. Leur accueil a été incroyablement chaleureux : nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis comme à la maison. Leur logement, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, est un véritable petit cocon dans lequel on se sent bien et en sécurité. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié toutes les petites attentions qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Merci encore pour tout !

Buena ubicación, limpio

No se trata! de un loft independiente. Se comparte un departamento con el (muy comunicativo) dueño y su esposa. El baño y el balcón se encuentran fuera del cuarto.. A mi parecer, la descripción es un engaño.

Condesa Zen is a unique and wonderful place to stay in México City located in a central and green area. The apartment is beautiful and its interior special. Valentín is a very kind host and helpful if you have questions about anything. Everything was new and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would come back any time. It was the best “hospedaje” we had been to throughout our travels in Mexico.

Probably our fault, we were expecting a hotel room and were surprised to find it was a private home. Bit to find.

Large, cozy room, very comfortable, everything you need, great location in La Condesa, Valentin & his wife are very welcoming hosts

For us it was not clear that the room & bathroom have no private entrance and are part of their apartment (the bathroom is next door to the room & you need go through the living room), it was not a problem at all, but a surprise and important to know to manage expectations

My husband and I had such a lovely time staying here! Valentin was such a warm and lovely host, and really made it feel like home. So much so that we rebooked to stay a second time when we came back through Mexico City at the end of our travels. The room was clean and spacious, and is in a brilliant location. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was great. We really enjoyed use of the coffee machine in the room and Valentin even left some tasty snacks for us. Both times we stayed here we needed somewhere to leave our bags after checkout, and Valentin was really helpful and flexible allowing us to leave our things until late. We would definitely recommend! Please note that the host Valentin lives in the flat so you are sharing the main living space rather than it being self contained. This was lovely for us and felt homely and welcoming. We'll definitely book again if/when we return to Mexico City in the future.
