Sunflower villa

We didn't stay in sunflower cottage in the end as booking.com had overbooked! But the host said we could stay in the bungalow next door which was much nicer, very clean and easy to access.

Problem with booking.com double booking us into Sunflower Villa, we arrived let ourselves in and there was other people's stuff everywhere. They wasn't there at the time but the place was a tip and it was a shock and stressful thinking we had nowhere to stay. Contacted host and she was great sorted issue straight away and put us in the place next door which is what she thought we was staying in that was clean and nice.

The location was good for the purpose of our trip.

Not what was advertised and not value for money. This is not acceptable- bedding didn’t appear to be changed, not hoovered, cigarette butts all over the garden, wires hanging out, dust, dirty utensils, the antibacterial spray was cloudy with bits in, Hoover was abandoned in the lounge still plugged in - however it hadn’t been hoovered. Crumbs in the bed. Disappointed overall.

The property was filthy, we found found socks, the bedding wasn’t changed as we witness the cleaner come in and out and you could tell, the towels were wet, there was a hair brush full of hair, a dirty baby bottle

The property was fine.

I didn't like coming back from our night out to find 2 people sat on the sofa drinking our drinks! We were really concerned about our belongings and if they had taken anything. They could have helped themselves to any cash we had left there as well our car as we had left the keys behind. It was unnecessary stress that was supposed to be a fun night out for me and my friends.

Location

Biggest issue was the bath/shower that didn’t drain properly due to rubbish in the drain and the beds that were like lilting on springs. I would not recommend this property.

Great location for our needs

No plug for bath, couldn’t turn the hot tap in the bath. Generally the house could have been better presented and in particular the floors hoovered.

Nothing

On arrival, bedding not changed, mess everywhere, contact host - nothing happened, end off stay electricity run out. The worst management.
