Sunflower villa

Large house with good facilities available. On the surface it looked very clean. Decent location depending on where your going. Easy to obtain access and had parking as well as additional spaces on road if traveling in multiple cars.

Some areas had an unpleasant smell, couldn't locate reason. Couldn't close curtains fully. Poor water pressure and temperature control. Carpets could do with some maintenance or replacing. Messaged seller the day ahead and had no response.

Reasonable location- not too far away from Bristol and was able to park 2 cars on the drive. Kitchen pretty decent and 3 decent sized bed rooms. Shower good.

Biggest gripe is with cleanliness of the property. The carpets weren't cleaned and the kitchen cubboard surfaces had quite a lot of dust and dirt. This really detracts from the overall pleasantness of the house. The owners do need to pay more attention to good quality cleaning between customers.

I paid to lodge at 12 Swan road Brisington, BS14 8NQ with my family. After we arrived at the property, we checked in and went out that same evening. Upon arrival, we found another family at the property. we thought we were the only one that booked the place but unknown to us, another family have taken over the property and we had our Travelling bags in there. They have stripped the bed and were already sleeping. My family and i were stranded outside for more than 3hrs from 11pm to 2am trying to sort out what went wrong with the Host whose name is Rowina. she was very adamant and she lied to us that the family booked a bungalow they were suppose to stay. The family had to call the police due to the the shouting and argument and this was really embarrassing with the fact that my kids were outside the cold all night and no jacket. we pleaded to get into the house just for kids to stay off the cold but the family who took over the house refused. This was a night mare. i Knew i was scammed because the family said the booked the same house via https://www.homebooking.com/ and that means the Host have listed her property in both websites which includes booking.com. we were told by the neighbours that this happen often and no one seems to have reported this. When the police arrived, we explained to them what happened and the host insisted she will take us to another property. Now we paid for this swan house for 2 nights which cost us £252. The family we found at the property later that night said they paid £202 via homebooking website. The host took us to another lodge BS5 8EE Flat 3 salisbury st. Georges street. This was lees than the value we paid for. On getting to the property with the excort of the police, the property was filthy and dirty with beds not arranged and towels on the floor, the bathroom dirty with dirty towels on the floor and stains all over bath and toilet.

Available staff, great location for our use of it.
