Dolphin Inn

We loved everything! Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. Dawn also very kindly provided me with a cafetiere when I mentioned a love of coffee in the morning. The pub was also warm and welcoming as a meeting place for us, our daughter, son in law and grandchildren. The restaurant is cosy, and the food cooked by Dawn is excellent. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you, John, Dawn and staff.

Staff made me feel so welcome. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful.

Good food

Room was very good, well equipped, clean, and had great wifi. Rest of the hotel has a derelict, about-to-fold feeling. Doesnt open the doors till 5pm, no meals Mon-Wed.

Breakfast arrived on Saturday and was fine but was completely forgotten on Sunday Bed was comfortable

Felt like they forgot we were arriving. Room in poor condition bulb missing from bedside lamp basin tap broken shower very poor bath surround damaged not very clean Trip hazards all up stairwell No Milk for Tea and Coffee without having to ask for it Saturday Night This Room SHOULD NOT have been let out to Guests as it coincided with a wedding directly below With very loud Music Until 2.00AM

The room wasn’t ready at 6pm. Staff couldn’t contact owner. Breakfast was not offered at all. Had to let myself out in the morning. Never saw anyone.

Poor state of facilities. Missing lever from water tap. Noisy water pump. Severe need for redecoration. No-one available in morning of last day for check out.

Very little. . Clean and the owner and staff friendly.

No soap, no shampoo, no hand towels (just two bath towels). Breakfast is a continental in plastic wrappers... only one key to the room so the beds weren't made or the room cleaned. Dirty sugar bowl, no drinking water... strange grubby cuddly toys in the room.
