Nonna Milli

The food and hospitality was absolutely phenomenal, the beds might have been the most comfortable we've slept on in our lives. Our room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. I'm already craving the dinner we had and will be trying to recreate it back home. This was easily the most comfortable stay we've had in the two times we've been to Japan.

The interior of the house was well kept and beautiful. The breakfast provided was delicious and just what we needed to start the day. Our Japanese was very limited so having the owner have great English was also very nice. Having stayed on tatami mats elsewhere throughout our trip it was also nice to be provided some extra padding as an option as I tend not to be super comfortable on regular ones. Overall it would have been nice to stay longer but the time we had with Elia was great!

My family stayed one night in this wonderful newly renovated traditional Japanese house. We enjoyed it very much! The futon beds were very comfortable (firm but not too hard) and warm, and the breakfast (toast with egg, yogurt, strawberry jam, nuts, banana and coffee) was delicious. Thank you, Elia, for giving us the opportunity to stay in your house and to experience a bit of local tradition. 😃

The walls are a bit thin, so you will hear passing cars at night. But this is too be expected from the traditional building style.

Et meget smukt hus med klassisk og original japansk indretning. Meget venligt vært, som havde mange gode anbefalinger til steder at besøge. Virkelig fedt at der var cykler til rådighed som vi lånte.

Le due birre fresche in frigo sono state una piacevole sorpresa! La stanza è meravigliosa, spaziosissima e curata nei dettagli. La colazione è fantastica e la chiacchierata con Elia ci ha fatto sentire davvero accolti e a nostro agio.

Très belle maison de style japonais, composée de 2 pièces joliment décorées : une chambre et une salle à manger, ainsi que d'une salle de bain. La chambre est grande, les futons sont confortables. Le petit déjeuner est bon. L'hôte est très serviable, sympathique et arrangeant.

La maison est assez loin du centre de Matsumoto, et les bus passent rarement. L'hôte propose de nous emmener en voiture aux horaires souhaités, ce qui est très pratique.
