Oahu Camper Adventures

Carl and his father-in-law welcomed me warmly at the airport. The camper was great and the bed was very comfortable, the handover was super relaxed. I really enjoyed my time on Oahu.

The whole family welcomed me warmly. Everything was great.

Carl was so accommodating and helped us with everything. Could not have been easier and his level of communication made everything smooth!

Put a wine opener in the van. :)

Carl was extremely personable and accommodating of changes to our schedule and the van offered us an excellent way to explore the north side of the island where lodging is scarce. The van ran well and the amenities like the fridge and snorkeling gear were appreciated.

Our van was on the older side and lacked A/C or fans for sleeping (A/C worked well while driving, however). We would have just opened windows but the rear window wasn't functional, making it a little warm for sleeping unless we popped the camper top up.

It was a well maintained camper, Carl was so nice and very helpful with lots of tips and tricks that made the trip awesome! Some places on the island were a bit scetchy to park the camper but Carl had nice tips for where to do it safely and without being disturbed in an otherwise touristy and crowded island. It's nice to have the freedom to go anywhere on the island and see what you like and sleep there if you like. Highly recommend this!

It was a big camper so as someone who doesn't drive much it was a bit stressful to drive it on narrow and bumpy roads.

Carl and his family were super helpful and easily reachable by phone. They went out of their way to help us and provide us with the best experience on Oahu. This was my family's first time on Oahu and our first time camping in a van, so we were a little nervous. What can I say, we spent our days at the beach and woke up next to the beach. Our baby slept through the night in the van (for the first time ever), and we saw stunning sunsets and sunrises every single day. Amazing trip. Amazing family. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

Only downside is to keep in mind there are limited places where to stay with a camper van on Oahu.

Large comfy campervan. It was not too big and perfect for me to drive around the island. It was powerful enough to get up teh hills and easy to see and be happy driving

I missed the rear view camera, but soon got used to not having one.

We did not know what to expect when we rented a camper van as it was our first van life experience. Carl made it a super smooth and enjoyable trip, offering great advice and timely help to all our questions. The van also had some awesome gear included, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. We felt that 4 days was the perfect amount of time to explore the island and we absolutely loved it!

Truly, everything exceeded our expectations. If i were forced to write one thing that could use a little improvement, some of the dishes were a bit dirty, but hey, its camping! Did not bother us much at all.
