The Six Ortigia Residences

The location was very good, Paid parking directly across the street-€20 a day. Restaurants and shops 2 minutes away. The ac and fridge work great.

The place need maintenance, entire shower assembly is broken, needs replacing, the toilet seat is falling off, toilet paper holder literally feel off 5 times, the couch while comfy will not stay together, it’s like a futon so your always about to fall off the couch, we woke up to a floor with water coming in from the rain at the very top of the steps, very dangerous. The outside shutter part of the door is missing. Now for the hot tub, do not spend the extra cash for a hot tub, they are do no heat well and they have very little pressure. Not to mention no explanation of how to operate and a very unfriendly staff or owner who had a terrible attitude when we explained we could not get it to heat. She finally came and turned it on but set it such a low temperature we still couldn’t use it. With maintenance and some attitude adjustment it could be a very nice place. Most expensive place of our 7 days in Sicily and by far the worst.

The location was very convenient, close to the main sight seeing points. Good host, good communication. Jacuzzi was lovely once we understood how to use it.

The location was excellent, easy walking distance to restaurants and the many sites of Ortygia. Once we found the car park opposite the property that was a convenient place to park.

We had a room with a sea view and jacuzzi. However the jacuzzi was in the living room and took up a lot of space and also obscured the sea view as the sofa was behind it. As the bedroom was on a mezzanine floor you had to scramble round it to get to the stairs leading to the bedroom. Not ideal for guests in their seventies! I’m sure younger visitors would cope!

The apartment Is very well located in the heart of Ortigia. It's just in front of the parking so arriving by car is really easy.

On the other side, the service are extremely basic. A microwave indicated in the available services was missing. An espresso machine Is available but no italian coffee market (the so called "moka") Is available which Is rather uncommon in Italy. We were given caps but only on our request.. Also the number of towel holders available Is absolutely non sufficient.

Location was excellent. The apartment is very good. The staff was supportive.

The presence of jacuzzi in the middle of the living room was shocking. You have no chance to move to the upper room or balcony without to step on the platform with big jacuzzi. One of the stares to the upper room was too high. Going to the bathroom from the sleeping room is a big challenge...(especially during the night).

An attractive, large apartment that was well-located on Ortigia and was very nice tostadas in. The staff were very responsive and helpful.

Great split-level apartment with a balcony overlooking the sea in a great location in Ortigia. Great host and I would book again.
