Clean, comfortable and very well appointed

The shower and the heated floor in the toilet area was great, breakfast was good. Good selection of teas on offer.

Being told both after booking and then on arrival to take shoes off in the property (when it’s a tile floor that just needs a sweep and mop between stays anyway) was a bit much. Towels smelt musty. Reluctant to use the amazing bath as there was a note on it implying that the overflow isn’t connected. Pillows need replacing.

The breakfast was nice. The bathroom was nice with the underfloor heating.

The towels were very rough. Instructions for using the heating would have been useful. I think the unusual toaster could be replaced. I spent a while working out how to use it for the eggs, which wasn't needed.

Romantic getaway within easy reach from London. Lots to see nearby. Very quiet at night. Good heating. Good breakfast. Good bed. Fantastic to have the bathtub in the room. Would happily return!

Could hear next door noise

The accommodation was cosy, very quiet and well looked after. Breakfast was good enough and included cereal, warm boiled eggs, avocado and good quality bread and jam. A bit of cheese or yogurt would be a welcome addition. The room is tastefully designed, shower is modern and clean, bed is comfortable. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

It would be good to have a couple of hangers for clothes, otherwise everything was just perfect.
