Oxford University Club

We never actually stayed. The hotel had messed up our booking and the receptionist seemed incapable of recognising a Booking.Com reservation. The booking was confirmed, but receptionist couldn't find it and was clearly out of her depth. No senior management help available.

The location & price.

The room is really only designed to accomodate 1 person for short stays. It is not really large enough or equipped for a couple with 2 medium sized cases to be comfortable.

The Oxford University Club is located adjacent to the university buildings of Oxford University, and is also just a 4–5 minute walk from the iconic Radcliffe Camera. Some major restaurants are within a 5–15 minute walking distance. Breakfast is available on the ground floor, with prices ranging from £5 to £8.

There is no on-site parking, but council-managed overnight parking is available at the Gloucester Green car park within walking distance (10-15 mins walk from the Oxford University Club). The rate was about £45 for 24 hours.
