Carol Lodge

I was surprised to find that this 'Lodge' was just a bedroom in someone's house. However, the host was accommodating and friendly (despite my 11pm check in). The house was warm, clean, and the linens were pristine. The price was also reasonable for what you are getting- a warm bed and shower for the night.

This 'Lodge' is simply a small upstairs bedroom in a woman's terraced house. It is indistinguishable from all the other tiny terraced brick houses, not even by a sign on the door. Although the host is friendly and accommodating, it can be awkward to be sharing such a small space (and single bathroom/kitchen) with someone if you did not expect it.

The host was very warm, welcoming and accommodating!

Clean Bedroom, drawers and wardrobe for my things, chair, adequate heating, Bathroom with shower, Tea and Coffee available, kitchen available for use, bin in bedroom, key provided to lock door, towel and bathrobes provided, comfy double bed, lamp, adequate chargers within reach, Carol was available at all times and keen to ensure a good stay. Carol was helpful in sorting my booking and told me I could switch to any other unoccupied room if I wanted to during my stay.

Window latch was broken during stay so someone could potentially have broken in as there was no way for me to lock it. Bathroom shared by many people so sometimes had to wait to use it but I didn't mind. Would have been nice to potentially have a desk in my room as I had to travel if I wanted to work or study.

Very friendly host couldn't recommend any higher.

Great convenient location for the end of the Northern Line, off street parking and a comfortable bed. Lots of breakfast options and friendly host.

Could do with some kind of sign outside as it was difficult to tell you were in the correct location!

Very comfortable bed & a warm, quiet room. Slept really well. Towels provided. We were able to park at the property which was great. Breakfast is included. Very close to Moden underground station.

It's not de luxe but the owner is very helpful, it's spotlessly clean and it's very cheap. it's also convenient for public transport and access to Central London

One has to share a bathroom which is downstairs, but, given th advantages, especially the location and the PRICE, this could be accepted.
