Ash Cottage

Great location. Cottage was delightful and much roomier than expected. Touches of modern, mixed with old world charm.

The property looks lovely in the photographs, but in reality this does not do the property justice. It was exceptionally clean and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Loved the outdoor space at the back, very relaxing with the sound of the stream, especially in the evening.

In a quiet area but short walk into village.

No soap in showers and only anti-bacterial hand soap at bathroom sinks.

It was very comfortable and clean house with all necessary amenities. Stayed for 3 nights and it was very comfortable.

There are no wardrobes to be your clothes just a hanger stand for clothes.

Location perfect for walking into Windermere and driving into the Lakes Decor and facilities all excellent Extremely comfortable

Amazing location with the stream outside, so much more than we expected. Huge living room space with cosy fire was fantastic in the evenings for the kids to play and adults to relax. Kitchen facilities were immaculate. Super comfy beds made sure we all had a good night sleep and the additional blankets kept us warm even with the snowfall outside.

Only minor issues we had was the lockbox had frozen when we got there to get the key to get into the property. To his full credit, Steve arrived within 5 minutes with a new key and was a nice personal welcome.
