A lovely cottage just a 10 minute walk to the beach and town. spotlessly clean and a real home from home, loved the garden for our little dog to potter about in. The little personal touches really make a difference.

Ivy Cottage is a beautiful tucked away place. Decorated and furnished perfectly. Need for nothing. Great outdoor space. Couldnt fault it and will return without a doubt. Perfect Place.

Absolutely nothing

Absolutely gorgeous cottage, we had the best four nights. Beautiful decor, huge tv, very peaceful location and the conservatory was lovely. The garden was great with table and chairs to sit out in the sun, our dogs loved it! There is a Greg’s and Co op a few minutes walk away and the beach, bars and restaurants in walking distance. We went to a Social Club most nights which was a few doors down on main road, everyone was so welcoming and dogs allowed in back room and beer garden! Fantastic place to stay and we will definitely be returning x

It’s very homely ,always smells lovely ,and is very clean and comfortable.

We wish you could park a little closer but it’s not a massive problem.

What an amazing little cottage! The location is brilliant; it's right by the beach and the town centre is very close by. There is a Co-Op in walking distance should you need it but big supermarkets are not far in the car. There is no way to park outside the property as it's not accessible from the road. Bear that in mind if you have a lot of stuff. Also parking is quite limited on the road directly outside the property but there are side roads opposite you can park on. The cottage is beautifully designed. The decorating is crisp and fresh, modern and minimalistic. And yet it is SO cozy! At night we turned the lighting on on the electric fire and turned all of the lights off and it felt so lovely and cosy. There were fresh tulips in a vase in the kitchen and another fresh bouquet of flowers in the conservatory. There was also a small bottle of milk, a couple of bottles of water, teabags and also a couple of packets of biscuits. What a thoughtful way to make your guests feel welcomed, especially after a long drive. The whole property is eco-friendly. LED bulbs are used everywhere, there is every type of recycling bin available outside. There are miniature toiletries in the bathroom which you are free to use but are asked to leave behind when empty so they can be refilled. I LOVE this! The hand washes are also refilled but they're very expensive brands and smell absolutely gorgeous! The kitchen has absolutely everything you need included to be able to cook comfortably. The beds were SO comfortable! I have degenerative osteoarthritis in my spine and I always hate sleeping in other beds because of my pain, but this bed was so lovely and comfortable. Even the single mattresses on the bunks were apparently just as comfortable. The bedding was also really nice and not budget. There is a smart TV mounted above the fireplace and the great thing is it has every app and subscription included; the usual Netflix, BBC iPlayer etc.
