Ivy Cottage

Such a cute cottage with everything you need and more. One of the best equipped kitchens I’ve seen in a holiday cottage, comfy bed and the garden was safe and secure for the dog. The attention to detail in the cottage was fantastic, even down to having a little blackout blind on the small roof window that is above the bed. Not all hosts (from my experience) bother with getting good curtains, so I think this goes the extra mile and makes it feel very homely. Location was fab. Had amenities close by and the beech a short walk away. Great base and area to explore North Wales.

I had an amazing stay at the Ivy Cottage! Great location as it was only about 10min walk from the train station/ town and all the shops. There is a big Coop across the street from the cottage so nice if you need any last minute supplies from the store. I was so grateful as the cottage came fully stocked up even with things like salt, pepper, ketchup and olive oil as well as a small carton of milk and a bottle of water which I thought was such a nice gesture. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were amazing had one of the best nights sleeps in there! Only annoying thing was that there wasn't a plug near the bed but it just meant that I didn't have to look at my phone and could properly relax. I loved the back space and access to the garden I was a bit unlucky with the weather so didn't manage to use it but I can imagine it being a great space in the summer. Just a little note if you are arriving late in the evening the road to the cottage has no lights so just have a flashlight ready it's only about a minute walk so nothing too bad.

I had few issues with locking the door could be just me but the lock keep turning around and every time I was leaving it took me ages to lock it :( I wish there would be a small shelf or storage in the shower it was just a bit annoying to have to leave everything on the floor but other than that no complains at all.

It was lovely and cosy with a lovely Christmassy feel. Close for visiting family. Everything we needed.

Lovely little property with everything we needed. Host left tea, coffee, sugar, milk and some biscuits, well needed after a long drive. Great location for getting to the beach or onto the high street. Lots of pots, pans, cutlery and dinner plates if you’re eating in, which we did. Shower nice and hot, shampoo and body wash there incase you forgot your own. We didn’t need it but again a thoughtful touch. Lots of cleaning products to leave the property as you found it, we always do so we found this very handy. Nice size TV, with Netflix, WiFi strong. Cottage down a little path which has a gate on to make it secure, cottage also has its own gates etc. Lovely little garden which would be awesome in the summer months, we didn’t use it but our little Boston kept having a nosy outside and we knew she was safe. Very cosy, clean, cottage feel whilst also feeling modern. Overall a great little place and we will deffo be back.

Everything was so lovely the little touches flowers,fairy lights loved it the conservatory was really nice a lot of love and care gone into this place boo the dog was relaxed as soon as we went in...bet it's even more lovely in summer time lovely little place fluffy towels super clean bedding. 🥰

The only thing for us was parking as along main Rd already had a few cars parked there had to go across Rd to estate which was safe enough but it's part n parcel of how it would of been back in the day ...didn't have cars therefore adds to the beauty of it

Excellent standard of decoration, furniture & fittings with a homely welcoming feel. Nice little garden room at the back - lovely sunny room & a garden for the dog to pootle around in. The fireplace in the cosy living room is stunning! Very friendly & helpful host.

The kitchen is a little small if you are planning on cooking/ room to plate up - but it's not a deal breaker!
