Sandy Lodge

The location is so near to the beach and the town centre. The house layout worked for large groups of people. It is very spacious. Plenty of room in the kitchen and living room for everyone to gather together. The hosts were brilliant. They gave us an early check in from 1pm. Texted us to ensure everything was fine with the house and made sure the heating was on before we arrived. The welcome pack consisting of cereal, bread, biscuits, crisps, milk, butter etc was very generous. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen to cook for larger groups. Air fryer and liners too. Towels were provided. The house was very clean.

Only 1 bathroom and 1 separate toilet. However this is clearly stated in the description so we knew about it when booking and is reflected in the price . As a group of 7 adults and 2 children we coped fine with it . We couldn’t close the small bathroom window so this made the room quite cool. The locks on the bathroom and separate toilet didn’t work which would have been handy but again it was fine. That said there was nothing to dislike about this property.

Hosts were excellent. Very helpful and responsive. We also got an amazing welcome pack. The whole house has plenty of space, was very clean and had everything we needed. Location was also perfect. Overall - excellent value for a house that can accommodate so many guests.

Only small things but probably needs a knife sharpener, kitchen scissors and more hooks for drying towels.

Tv full satellite viewing.Lots of board games,kids toys etc.Massive kitchen with all facilities. Loved the automatic lighting in the hall,great for late toilet visits! Hornsea is a great place to visit,lots of small specialist shops a short walk from the lodge.

No complaints.

We loved how close everything was to the property along with it being pet friendly. The host was really helpful, offered us advice on where to visit and accommodated our arrival by offering my parents to check in early if needed. It was the perfect get away for this time of year. We will be returning with other friends and family.

So much room. Really well equipped and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and relaxed during our stay. Gorgeous house, beautiful location. Just perfect.

We had a lovely weekend stay, the house was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we could need. The welcome pack was a really nice unexpected extra. Communication was amazing and Annette was great at keeping in touch and making sure everything was okay for our stay. I would happily recommend this house for a stay.
