Sandy Lodge

Location was fantastic on a very quiet residential street , very spacious and clean property , really enjoyed our stay would definitely return , correspondence with hosts brilliant.

Kitchen equipment could be improved.

Excellent location for the beach and local shops. On road parking which we found easy but may be harder during school holidays. Lots of steps and stairs so may not suit everyone. Split over three floors. The kitchen, lounge, bathroom and one double bedroom on the second floor. Top floor has a toilet room (which could do with somewhere to hang a towel), a double bedroom and king bedroom (with tv) facing the road and a further double bedroom (with tv) facing the sea (with sea views - and at the time of our stay resident baby gulls). Nice TV in the lounge. Plenty of seating space - 3 low sofas. Some good games for young children and beach equipment also. Do take your shoes off in the hallway and mind the step up coming in from the front door. Kitchen is huge. Plenty of everything. A massive table. Plus a room off with two single beds. A nice welcome basket upon arrival plus tea and coffee were provided. The cupboard could do with a sort out as there are some out of date items in there but we felt it wasn't up to us to throw things out. Also there is a sponge with a bar of soap on top of the shower head which really needs throwing away. The property is light and airy and a pleasure to get back to at the end of a sometimes long day walking various beaches looking for fossils (which we found plenty of).

Not a dislike but when a washing machine is provided and access to the garden is round the side of some else's property then a tumble dryer or heated clothes maid would be perfect.

Spacious, clean and comfortable

Very comfortable and clean - ideal location for our working group and we hope to return. When the group couldn't work out the heating someone went around very quickly to resolve. Thank you

Excellent location Excellent facilities A large spacious comfortable apartment, would be a fantastic place to stay with 2 or 3 couples or families acres of room. Fantastic welcome pack and the owners txt us on our last night to say we didn't have to vacate till 12 instead of 10am so great Sunday lie in 👍

One lock on the entrance door, felt it could be made more secure. That's about it really

Just wow the house was massive and homely. So clean and so welcoming

Location amazing, welcome package very good. Everything in the kitchen that is required. Plenty of room for our party which consisted of 6 adults, 3 children and a did.

The living room was cold, radiator blocked by the large settee could be doing with some portable heating in the winter months. pillows wasn't ideal a bit sweaty could do with pillow covers on under the pillow cases. All in all we had an amazing stay Ben and Annette was very helpful and ready to help at the end of the phone, would definitely stay again.
