Veel geluid van de bovenliggende badkamers en de tv van de buren. Er is geen spa in het hotel, deze is verderop in de straat. Entree hiervan is 15 euro pp. Hotel is schoon en het ontbijt is goed, wel redelijk gedateerd.

Such a great stay. Only caveat is it’s very isolated from the town so you have to drive to go anywhere outside the hotel. Very nice staff. Great views and food was very good. Loved breakfast. Will be back soon!

Fint, gammelt hotell med fasinerende historie. Veldig stille og rolig beliggenhet. Slitt balkong og trange bad, og det tok ca. 10 min. å få varmt vann i kranen om morgenen. God frokost, men vi savnet varme egg og nystekte brød. I tillegg hadde de 5 ulike utgaver av saft, men ingen skikkelig appelsinjuice. Halve frokostbuffeen bestod av kaker, noe som er uvant for oss skandinaver. Alt i alt et greit hotell, som med enkle grep kunne blitt veldig bra.

The hotel itself is quite old and the furniture reflects that age, but overall, it was fairly comfortable. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of croissants - a real treat for anyone who enjoys a good pastry in the morning. The housekeeping service was diligent, with the room being cleaned every day. However, there was no option to indicate that I didn’t need the room cleaned daily. The towels were also replaced daily, even when I hung them up to reuse (rather than leaving them on the floor). Eventually, I had to leave a note to let the staff know that it wasn’t necessary to change the towels every day. Overall, the stay was comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyable, but the hotel could benefit from updating its furniture and offering guests more control over the housekeeping services.
