Studio Bleu

The property was clean and spacious for 2 people. It had everything in there you would expect in a studio. The staff were friendly - prompt at responding and quick to answer the phone.

Not big issues but it’s important to make you aware that the property is off the main road so it is quite noisy at night. I’d advise to bring your own towels as the ones provided were hand towels and bring your own shower gel. The bed is very creaky, if you’re someone who turns at night it is quite squeaky. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear upstairs movement.

The location of this apartment was amazing! Short walk to the centre and the Indian grill right underneath it was delicious.

Unfortunately the noise was an issue as the windows are not double glazed it did feel like the window was actually open. I can appreciate however that we are in a city in a busy part so I am taking that into consideration. The other noise problem was the bed! The frame is so noisy with every movement, turning over woke us both up. The mattress was very comfortable though but the frame needs addressing!

If you are planning to stay here with the intention of getting a good night’s sleep, this may not be the right choice. The windows are single-glazed and there is continuous traffic noise throughout the night. Internal noise is also an issue — footsteps, movement, and general building noise were clearly audible at around 2–3am. Additionally, the beds are in poor condition; not only could we hear our own bed constantly creaking with movement, but also beds from neighbouring rooms, which made restful sleep very difficult. On the positive side, the property does have a secure entry system, although accessing it through the gate is somewhat awkward. The TV and sofa were in acceptable condition. Cleanliness could be improved. We found a half-empty bottle of water left in the fridge and a piece of chewing gum on the window ledge, which was disappointing. Overall, the property has some positives, but significant improvements are needed, particularly around noise insulation, bedding quality, and housekeeping.

Everything, the apartment was clean and tidy. The location was easy to find. The instructions were clear. This apartment was amazing, the bed was so comfortable and the sofa was much needed after lots of walking around Birmingham. We only stayed one night but there is everything you need for a much longer stay. We will be keeping this as one of our favourites and look forward to coming back.

Road noise could be a pain to some but we didn't mind at all. Plus if you have a heavy footed person upstairs it could become annoying as we did. But that's nothing to do with the apartment.

Property was in brilliant location and hosts were extremely helpful with parking arrangements.
