Spacious and well equipped

Waiting half an hour to be given the new code for the key pad :-( the bed was rock hard.

Cute studio, nice furnishings, warm, parking (if prebooked). Nice pub below (closes at 10). 20 mins walk to new St station or 5 mins to St Paul's tram, 10 mins to jewelry quarter shops & restaurants

Traffic noise constant as on main road and through the night.

Bed was bit hard

The room was nice, clean and spacious

The windows are very old and single glazing, therefore could hear everything going on outside. If you are a light sleeper I would not recommend.

Very well furnished and really comfortable. Slept like a baby

Leaving

The apartment was clean and the host managed to give us last minute parking space.

1. The kitchen light doesn’t work just flickers and turns off. 2. The radiators turn themselves off after a few mins so was quite cold 3. The bed was rock solid and very creaky so very sore back when woken up. 4. The room above us was banging till around 1:30am keeping us awake also using what sounded like a washing machine. 5. The metal stairs leading up to the property had puddles on and were very slippery.

The property is generally well maintained and provided what we needed, at least for for the 2 of us on a one night stay. It is close to the city centre and the Jewellery Quarter areas, and there is a local shop opposite for provisions you may need.

Our three main issues were that the bed is very hard, and we found it was most uncomfortable and hence did not provide us with a good nights sleep. I know this is a preference, but something more suitable for the majority would be better. The apartment is single glazed, therefore is noisy, particularly as there is a late night refreshment business a couple of doors away, which seems to be frequented by taxi drivers and late night revellers. It also allows for heat loss. The third issue may seem flippant, but the TV did not work. I suspect the remote control was the issue. I even bought batteries for it, but this didn't work. The point was that we had made the booking on the basis that there was a TV with associated apps as there was something we wanted to watch on that particular night. I did try to get support but apart from a text saying nothing could be done, I couldn't get in touch with anyone.

The flat itself was clean and stylish

The bed was rock hard, I think I managed a staggered 2 hours sleep the entire night due to how hard the bed was, the sound coming from the pub next door and then the people in the flat above who I can only imagine bought a rhino back with how loud they were. Whilst there is heating facilities in the property, the flat struggles to retain heat due to it escaping through the windows.
