Gap Retreat

Even before we arrived the hosts communication with us and information we required was brilliant. The house has fabulous facilities, a very spacious property. Great for a large party/family social get togethers. Extremely comfortable and met all our needs. Lovely Welcome Basket provided with prosecco, chocolates, tea, coffee, milk, bread. A home from home. Added bonus of a hot tub, which we throughly enjoyed. Great garden and bbq area. Thank you Clare and Paul for your hospitality. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

amazing so much space and everything there that was needed for our large family

Group of girl friends stayed and the house was absolutely beautiful bigger than we expected, hosts Paul and Clare were so lovely and friendly! House was spotless, hot tub was amazing, location was fab! There was milk, bread, tea, coffee, chocolates and prosecco on arrival. Overall amazing we will definitely be back!

Great layout for a big gathering, hosts were fantastic. Helped us with a taxi from airport for a few of our group and also helped us a few requests we needed for the property! Thank you Paul and Clare

Plenty of space to create a games room for the house- not required in summer as grounds are lovely /great big space for bbq but may be good for winter bookings!

So many rooms and a big massive kitchen and plenty of areas to sit as a large family! Plenty of parking and a bonus of a fantastic large hot tub which has speakers and a family bbq on site ready to go

No phone signal but there is WiFi

Even prior to arrival, the communication with the hosts was brilliant. They provided us with the wifi code, ideas for places to eat and places to visit during our stay - this was extremely helpful and allowed us to plan for our two night stay. The hosts were on site on arrival and where there to show us around, how everything works and hand over the keys. Everything in the house is spotless and the space is amazing. We were a family celebrating a milestone wedding anniversary for our parents and the huge kitchen/dining was just perfect. The outdoor space is fabulous - plenty of parking, an amazing hot tub which was used a lot, a football and badminton setup. The garden is massive and allowed the kids to safely enjoy the outdoors as it’s well away from the road. Plenty of bedrooms, smart tv package, the hosts has literally thought of everything and everywhere was spotless. Highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed. Get a chippie from the local village, was delicious

We were so happy to find this amazing accomodation for a family reunion - a group of 12. The house is so spacious with the amazing kitchen area for socilaizing. The hot tub and BBQ were a treat too. Clare and Paul were wonderful hosts - extremely helpful with knowledge and advice about local restaurants and things to do. It is a peaceful and private property yet close enough to access so many wonderful sites (by car), an excellent, central base to explore Northern Ireland. Thank you for having us - we hope to return some day!

We loved everything!

The hosts are very welcoming and friendly and ensure you know everything you need. They even called up one of the days to put up the gazebo, it was great attaching it to the hot tub area. There is a large outdoor table and chairs and bbq. Everyone commented on how comfy the mattress , pillow and bed in general was. The house seems to have been redecorated and is just amazing. Everything you need is there, facilities amazing. The hot tub is class, it's large and has lights and speakers. There is a very large kitchen dining room with an attached sun room again equipped with everything, including a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. We stayed in that space most of the time as there was no need to use the big living room. There are 2 shared bathrooms and 4 rooms have ensuits so no one waiting on a loo or a shower the whole time. Would deffo recommend and would return again. .

Very nice, clean, spacious house. 3 en suite bedrooms, 1 room with 2 double beds and 4 bedrooms sharing the main bathroom - plenty of privacy. New jacuzzi was amazing and stayed hot all the time while in use. Beds very comfortable. It was raining during our stay but the owners provided us with a pergola so we could have a BBQ. The BBQ was great and the food was ready quickly. Amenities were excellent, linen, plates, cutlery, TV, music speaker - all these things added to our comfort. Asda 20 minutes drive from the house. The owners were very kind and helpful, they provided everything we needed. We were welcomed with a lovely cheese board which made us feel special. I cannot express enough how amazing our stay at Gap Retreat was, especially the jacuzzi, it was amazing quality and everyone loved it. If you're thinking of booking this house for a group getaway, I wouldn't hesitate any longer. Paul and Clare - thank you so much for everything.
