It had a horrible smell....could not figure out how to use the coffee maker and where to plug it in.....there were 3 people, 2.slept in one bed and the other on the sofa bed and there was only the sheet no blanket. Parking was not fun. Shower leaked.

The host was exceptionally attentive and accommodating. She fulfilled any reasonable request, including early check-in if the apartment was available. She was like an information center for the city. :-) I would definitely stay there again if I visit Catania.

There was a light, weird smell in the bathroom, but it didn't affect my overall experience.

Location, facilities and service

The lock of the door to enter the apartment because it was very difficult to open it. Every time we needed to try several times before being able to open the door.

The public parking is in front of the buidling.

The apartment is not as advertised on the booking. Unlike the description which lists 1 separate bedroom with double bad and living room with sofa, the apartment in reality has only one room with sofa and double bad together. In addition, we were not provided with sufficient number of towels.

This review is for the extra day we booked and everything I said in my full review stands. Great stay :)

The flat was very spacious and comfortable. Lisa is a great host that is always reachable and will do anything she can to make your stay even better. All the above along with Catania being great made us extend our stay for another night. Location is great for the historical center of the city (only 10 minutes walk) with a supermarket nearby in case you need it.

Parking can be a bit tricky as you have to be very lucky to get free parking. But even on the blue lines it's free between 8pm-9am

LISA was a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. It is exactly the same as shown in the pictures and within walking distances to various attractions. We could not have asked for a better location. Short walk to local supermarkets, Catania Central Bus Station and train station. Overall a wonderful place, we would stay here again easily!

The location was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Located ten minutes from the centre and with easy on-street parking. Kind and helpful host, the house had many amenities: coffee machine, microwave, washing machine, kettle and much more. Very quiet

Lisa is the best host, always available and helpful. You are in good hands staying at her property. The place is perfectly situated, less than 10 min walk to the central train & bus station and city center
