Amazing location and beautiful stay! Couldn’t figure out how the AC unit worked but overall no complaints.

The room - great ambiance, furniture, amenities. The location - walkable, and close to transit

Slightly too much noise from the outside, sound-proof windows would go a long way

Great stay, very clean, room aesthetic is beautiful, kitchenette with all necessities, proximity to a lot of good dining and coffee shops. Just be aware that it is not soundproof and . I will definitely always book for my Boston stays.

Excellent property, well appointed, clean and with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Close to public transportation and several restaurants and eateries nearby. Easy check in and out. The only negative is the city noise: sirens, traffic, etc. but that comes with the convenience of being in the city.

Walkability within the neighbourhood and district :several restaurants, also the wine emporium, Flour. Within walking distance of MFA, Boston Public Library. Google maps street view helpful for planning. The 202 unit is set up for success to dine at home on takeout in terms of location - 2 good restaurants within a 2-4 minute walk and dinnerware - white china for everyday, wedgwood for special evenings. We appreciated and liked the round table and green chairs. Comfy bed. Managers were pretty responsive to text enquiries even tho they weren't able to resolve issues. The Victorian interior - reminiscent of a house we once owned! Wallys jazz club very close!

A. There is no bedside lighting which meant 1. reading in bed wasn’t easy and 2. one has to turn off the overhead lighting using the switch by the door which meant getting out of bed to do that, then finding ones way in the dark to get back to the bed. B. the washcloths are too thick! C loss of internet on the last day and night which cost us mucho $ for roaming fees.

The historic brownstone had tremendous charm and was lovely. There was a problem with the heat not working and repeated requests for something to be done were met with conflicting information about possible repairs, but nothing was done. Luckily the temperatures rose during the day, which helped keep it a little more comfortable.

Best part was getting a complete refund because this place was so bad.
