Gilchristland Organic Farm Retreat

Had an absolutely lovely time. Eleanor and John were super communicative and helpful in advance of our arrival. The place was even more gorgeous than we had expected! Definitely keen to come back, we wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful surroundings. Utterly charming annexe. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

This is a very peaceful place to stay. The Annex is full of character with very well thought out features including a four poster bed. The hosts were very warm and welcoming which was important as a solo female.

The kitchen was unfinished and not well equipped. This said if there was anything I needed I only had to ask and the hosts were more than happy to help. I couldn’t really fault this property

Beautiful views beautiful king room great big bath Patio doors great views of the sheep nice we sun spot outside open views great breakfast plus breadbasket breakfast great on the sunday well worth it all big tv nice places to visit around Thornhill nice we village for lunch in jennys some lovely shops got a beautiful dress to Eleanor and John fab will Diffenty return again stay longer to we had the best weekend weather was sunny thank you Donnamaire and Steven 🥰

Spacious and comfortable room, good bathroom facilities. Cooked breakfast served in room was excellent, plus tasty home made bread and jam.

Kitchen wasn't quite finished while we were there, but will be excellent once complete.
