A very smart, clean and comfortable studio apartment in a great location on a fairly quiet road, away from the busy traffic further down. Within easy reach of the station and town centre, less than 10 mins on foot which was ideal. A well-equipped kitchen with everything you need.. even washing-up liquid, laundry capsules and bin liners provided. A lovely clean and compact bathroom with a really good shower over the bath! All in all, a great stay and a perfect base for the week to explore Halifax and surrounding towns.

The only things that let the place down was having no towel rail or hook to hang your wet towels after a shower.. I ended up draping them over the dining chairs to dry each day! Similarly, there was no clothes airer provided to dry clothes on if you wanted to use the washing machine during longer stays. It would've been handy to have used it as I was staying for a week during a heatwave!

The company let us check in earlier and check out later.

The first apart (no 25) was disgusting. The carpet had stains all over, I didn’t want to take my shoes off. The place hadn’t been hoovered and the kitchen was also dirty (the hob and sides). We paid £330 to stay for 2 nights which was already really expensive for Halifax. After ringing and complaining to Sally from the company, she moved us rooms, she was great and very helpful. The next room was a lot better.

Clean and bright apartment with lovely rooms. Great location for the Piece Hall town centre.

Would have liked to park outside but found a good priced car park to leave the car for a few days.

Misleading parking information. Carpet really needs a good clean. Insufficient hot water for two consecutive showers.

The furniture in the property was all new and fresh. The location was great for walking to town and the piece hall etc

The property was not very clean. The walls are covered in dirty marks and pencil scribbles. The carpets were very dirty with marks and stains throughout the entire property.

Location was very good. Bed was comfortable. Easy to find and access.

Carpet dirty Unable to control shower water temperature Lacking spare toilet roll, cleaning materials. Oils use privacy film on windows, particularly bathroom. Expensive compared to other places we have stayed.

Proximity to amenities and family

We actually booked and paid via booking.com for a one bed appartment and arrived to find it was a studio. Still had no response from booking.com re refund The outside of the property is covered in black and red paint (red paint is new as we stayed in the block in December) obviously there is an issue here! No hot water in the evening Bin had not been emptied, no washing up liquid so we had to leave our cups etc. assuming they had not been washed properly before as they were on the rack WiFi intermittent in the studio (basement) The floorboards in the upstairs room need fixing, really loud and at 6.15am not what you need! These were as is when we stayed in this room in December! Needs sorting

The location was great, walkable to everything but enough out of the way to sleep quietly. Spacious interior, cute decor.

Very little hot water for the shower/bath, despite reaching out and following the instructions to hit boost, etc. This was a huge issue to have three children and myself to bath. Also-to pay for 7 nights and receive one toilet roll, two trash bags, and one paper towel roll was obviously insufficient. For the price, there should be enough for the entire stay.

The property was nice and clean inside and comfortable. The door was secure and the property felt safe inside and was quiet. It was easy to walk to local amenities from the property which was close to the main attraction 'Peace Hall'.

The exterior of the property looked poor and it had paint thrown and splattered all over it extending to the public path and did not look very inviting. The TV didn't work correctly due to remote batteries and problems. There was a small balcony type extended sill outside the window, but there was to way to lock the sitting area window from the inside. The iron left a mark on my wife's dress after use. The bath plug needed to be forced out with a knife as the release method did not work.
