"Lovely stay with great hosts."

Great friendly hosts, good location. Well thought out and nice touches like flowers, breakfast, tea & coffee. Plenty of towels too and nice powerful shower.

"The first time in a police cell…but not the last. Great stay!"

We liked the DIY continental style breakfast provided along with the small kitchen facilities. The hosts were fantastic and friendly. The use of the old cells is excellent.

A short description of what to expect when you say “breakfast included”, maybe present it as a welcome hamper of basics and a few goodies.

"Need to consider price for slightly unfinished and the presentation of the lounge etc…the accomodation is nice but let"

Great location- quick walk into town and opposite the castle .

Walking through the hosts lounge (strong smell of cat food) to get to accommodation- just felt really odd. The flooring in accommodation isn’t quite finished. We could only lock the bedroom door- which we wouldn’t do at night so felt anyone could have walked into the space whilst we were sleeping.

"Nights in a Victorian Police Cell."

This is a Victorian Police Station and I chose to sleep in a cell for the night. I suppose you need to have a sense of humour, but I shall never forget. The kitchen and bathrooms were very good and the owner is an Artist and Musician of excellent character. Car park at rear.

The once in a lifetime experience of being put into a prison cell. The location and the helpful owner.

"Night's in the cells"

Great location. Good accomodation. Lovely hosts.

Needed some coat hooks to hang coats up. TV would have been good but not a necessity. Access to car park bit tight for a larger car.

"Exceptional"

Hosts were amazing. Microwave and kettle were a nice touch and saved having to eat out. Location is perfect, literally 2 mins walk to town. A quirky place that will be fabulous when fully restored

There was plenty of drawer space, but somewhere to hang clothes would be handy.

"Perfect place for us to stay for a family gathering"

Brilliant hosts, friendly and very accommodating. They are doing great work in restoring the property. Croissants and bread, butter, jam and milk very much appreciated. Property is so close to town. Would thoroughly recommend.

A tv in the cell bedroom would have been good, but thank you for letting us use the larger room to relax and watch tv.
