They charged me 2000 extra they planned everything and didn’t send the location and later on started saying if u want to go u need to pay extra 2000

Very comfortable boat around the beautiful backwaters of Alleppey.

The boat wasn’t full so felt abit quiet but it was monsoon season so not many tourists around.

I enjoyed my stay on the houseboat. I found that it was a reasonable rate for the larger size room with ac. Also included was lunch, chai/coffee, and dinner. Also they served breakfast but I had to catch a flight back so I was not able to stay for breakfast. I enjoyed all the food which had veg option as well. The boat ride itself was very scenic. For I think 600 ruppees, we were able to take a local boat ride around and was able to purchase coconut water from local folks. I enjoyed that part especially. The scenery was beautiful and the coconut water is just what I needed. The boat itself is docked at night due to regulations . I found it very relaxing to sleep on the water. The staff were helpful. Especially Arjuna. She was able to speak to my taxi drivers both times in Mayalam to give directions to where the boat was docked. They also checked when I was arriving bc my taxi was a little late getting there. I felt like they try to wait as long as they can for any last minute passengers. That was helpful bc I didnt want to have to pay for a speedboat to take me out. And Arjuna made sure the crew knew I had exit before the boat took off for breakfast. I was a bit nervous about that bit but it worked out and the crew alerted me when my taxi arrived. Wish I had been able to stay longer but it was the only time I could book a flight back to Mumbai. All the other flights were later in the evening. Overall, I definitely would recommend.

Only thing was that the ac was only turned on in the evening. It was a bit hot in my room. But I think the ac was on in the dining room. And Ill be a typical Westener by saying there was no hot water. Which ended up being ok bc it was so hot outside that I didnt need hot water.

During monsoon having a night stay in boathouse is a very unique experience.Entire stay was amazing.The food and cleanliness was outstanding.

No variety of breakfast - just Idli, Chutney and Sambar, with some bread slices.

The cruise was for a short distance and we had day cruise passengers, about 20 of them crowding the place. We were of an opinion that only people staying in the boat house would be allowed to cruise but that one was unexpected. It was literally crowded.
