Beautiful Cotswold Couples Retreat

Room, location, value, all fantastic

Bed could have been a little more comfortable but great size

Ideal location, close enough to the busy tourist centre but far enough away to be peaceful. Large coop next door for supplies. We were welcomed by posh crisps, local fudge and a bottle of wine, lovely touch. We were welcomed by message and any queries were answered quickly. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Location to centre of town and the small garden area on a sunny day (fresh air and a gentle breeze.

Nothing of concern.

It was close to town, but not right in the middle of the congestion. It was very close to the walks, to Greystones and the old cemetery which we enjoyed. It was also very convenient for a walk to Lower Slaughters. A large Co-op was just around the corner, so it was easy to get groceries. It has a lovely, private backyard. For people traveling by public transport, it was great. We took the train to Morton in Marsh, where we caught the 801 bus for Bourton-on-the-Water. We had them drop us off at the Cotswolds Academy, and it was a short walk to the Retreat. It was a very convenient way to get to our accommodations.

We loved staying in the annex accommodation. It was comfortable, quiet, self contained and very private. We loved the enclosed courtyard and made use of the washing machine. The village is absolutely gorgeous and only a five minute walk away. There is also a very good supermarket close by. It really felt like a lovely retreat

Very nice place. Soft fluffy towels & well stocked kitchen. Lovely private little garden to sit out in. Safe & secure with entrance through a coded gate. Co-op nearby for supplies. Within walking distance to the village which is very pretty. Good choice of restaurants etc. Nice, friendly hosts.

Could have done with an oven glove in the kitchen & a little bin in the bathroom! A welcome pack would have been nice.

The cobwebs on the high ceiling need attending to but that’s it
