Beautiful Cotswold Couples Retreat

Fantastic location and a fantastic property. Secure and safe, but only 2 minutes walk from the main Bourton area. If you know how busy the village gets, then you'll know how amazing it is to park your car safely out of the way! The property is nicely decorated and with all the amenities one needs. Large bedroom with a large bed and a leather sofa with a small table to sit and eat, etc. There is a bbq, 2 sun loungers and a small table with 2 chairs outside for when the weather is agreeable. Well equipped kitchen and a good-size bathroom with a great walk-in shower with a large window for plenty of light. The place was quiet, especially at night, even though it's a couple of yards from the road, so we both slept well and enjoyed waking up naturally and without extraneous sounds... OK, maybe pigeons cooing! Added bonus: the owner let our daughter in early to decorate the room as a surprise for my wife! That added that extra touch to make us feel like they, genuinely, care rather than deal with us like a faceless customer.

Great location within walking distance of The Village and all the local attractions. Cottage was very comfortable and had everything that you would need for a great stay

Pillows weren’t as comfortable for me, but that’s personal taste.

The annex is perfectly positioned to explore not only Bourton on the water but the Cotswolds in general. It was a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. We'd definitely look to return sometime soon.
