Delightful Family Getaway Cornwall

Property was comfortable and had everything needed for a holiday

Garden was overgrown with the grass over a foot tall, one of the bedroom heaters didn’t work and there is a damp musty smell in the kitchen and kitchen cupboards.

Central location

The location was great. The cottage was lovely and had a nice personal touch. It was newly renovated and decorated.

It took a while to heat up when we first arrived. And the heater in the small bedroom didn't work. Only a problem as we stayed over new year when it was cold. The single bed was a camp bed with a single duvet so not big enough for an older child or 5th adult.

Great house in lovely location, would definitely rent again.

House was very cold when we arrived, took a few days to warm up. Would have been better if the heat had been put on a little before we arrived.

The neighborhood is good, there is the Red Lion bar just 2-3 minutes walk from the house. Also, there is a grocery shop -- The Village Shop nearby too, about 3 minutes walk.

Light and airy clean house, with great history. We loved staying here and will be returning! Great location. Dishwasher was a great addition and the hydrangeas in the garden are spectacular. We enjoyed sitting out there and playing card games in the evening.

Bedroom that is above lounge (double) was very hard.

The cottage is light and nicely decorated. The location is good for accessing the south of Cornwall and there are good paths close to the accommodation. Parking for one medium-sized car. Nice garden.

No washing machine, fairly basic kitchen equipment, and minimally opening windows meant upstairs was very hot when we were there.
