The elevator was out of service, this hotel is literally in the ghetto

Woodspring associate called to tell me I booked through 3rd party who overbooked so I didn't have a room. WoodSpring was able to accommodate me anyway. Room was very clean. Excellent location to Richmond Airport.

Room was very clean, but had strong bleach odor. Had to open window to air out room. Actually the lobby also had strong bleach odor. Heard people in room next door which meant walls are probably not very thick or well insulated.

The woman working the overnight shift was very much unprofessional. My husband went to ask for a new towel and even offered to give the old wet towel that we had to put down at 3am because the entire floor was soaked from the AC dripping and she said we couldn’t get a new towel until 7am and it was about 6am. She has clean towels sitting on the desk right in front of him and was denied as she sat her on her phone playing videos. Didn’t even offer anyone to come look at the AC. To add the “QUEEN BED” was a full instead which was dented in the middle. The sleep was terrible. Service was horrible and why are the doors so hard to open and close? There was a constant beeping in our room not sure what it was and the lights did not work only working light was the lamp by the bed. Table connected to the wall slanted . Check your workers

Absolutely nothing.

Everything could have been better. Walked in, phones in the lobby and rooms dont work. Doors were locked and shutter was down, had to use intercom to get her to open the door. I get my room key, im on the 4th floor and the elevator is broken. I walk in my room and the entire floor is covered in sticky liquid and was clearly never cleaned and the bed was covered in brown stains and had no comforter. They didn't have anymore rooms. Staff was rude when I asked questions. I left the room and requested a refund and found other accommodations.

When we left

Stale smoke smell, cigarette burn on the comforter, hair all over the bathroom, hair stuck in towels and wash clothes, garbage on the floor under beds.
