Free shuttles are available from Kintetsu Toba Train Station every 30 minutes between 08:45-11:45 and 12:30-18:00. A reservation is not needed. Please call the hotel directly if you arrive at the station after 18:00. Guests arriving after 18:00 must inform the property in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Guests with children must inform the property at time of booking. Please specify how many children will be staying with you and their respective ages in the special request box. Please note that the maximum occupancy of the room includes all children and cannot be exceeded under any circumstances. For extra guests exceeding the room occupancy, guests will be asked to separate rooms and additional charges will apply. Guests may not be accommodated if there is no availability. We loved Toba International for the extremely warm and welcoming staff, the incredible location and the choices of food available between the two hotels. The pools were magnificent.

"The best place to feel Japanese OMOTENASHI. (hospitality)"

Thanks to all Shojitei staffs for your wonderful hospitality, we had a truly fantastic stay. We stayed for two nights, booking dinner at different restaurants each day. On our first night, the chef kindly offered to change part of our second night's menu free of charge because there was some overlap. Both meals were exquisite, featuring dishes made with fresh local ingredients and prepared with superb culinary skills. Your warm hospitality made our dinners even more special. Our room was absolutely wonderful, with a private open-air bath and a balcony overlooking the Japanese garden. During our stay, we were able to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax to our heart's content.

It's a minor point, but our room was directly below the restaurant, so we could hear people dragging chairs inside. I'd like to add three points, because I saw many international guests at the hotel. - The yukata selection service should also be offered to men. Yukata is one of the Japanese traditional clothes. I believe many guests enjoy choosing what to wear for a special hotel stay, regardless of gender. - Public bath cleaning staff should be gender-equal. I found it strange that women cleaning the men's bathroom during business hours. It may not have been a problem in the past, but nowadays men feel uncomfortable with women in the changing room.
