Thank you really good place

The place is very well located, it is close to very beautiful places and has a mall in front, the staff is super attentive and pleasant, it has many rules and I liked that because that way you are calm and relaxed. The Hotel is old, the structure is old, it looks a little neglected, but they say they are working on that, when I arrived my room did not look hygienic, but I reported it and they went to clean, in Honolulu the weather was very hot and my room only had a floor fan, everything is old, some things are not in their best condition, but it is good if you only go to sleep there and not spend the day.

I love to interact with real local people versus travelers. This trip to Hawaii was on my agenda for about 8 years, as it filfilled an important bucket list item;my 50th state to visit and I got all 50! I enjoyed it, especially the weather but would not have been able to afford it if I was paying $200/night to stay. The building is old 1951. So that was evident but expected. Shared showers on the floor. Again, old, and only once two toilets/showers, but not once did I wait for either. For the negative reviews you may see, I definitely take issue. The location is super clean! Local residents no issue. Beautiful outdoor courtyard and garden! Best part?? It is like a four minute walk to wakaki beach! 6minutes from huge shopping mall and food court. Bus stop across the street. On main road Ala Moana and I did not have to use the bus/trolley or Uber except to get from airport-which only ran about $25. Tala was friendly and most helpful from the confirmation call I made to the last interaction I had! On a real note: the room had a fan, and a ceiling fan, but it was hot in the room and prohibitive to hang out there. Not too quiet as my room was on the street side of the building at end unit and since the room was so hot, the window had to stay open, and noise to follow. Didn’t interfere with me sleeping. Felt safe-a ladies floor. Loved that! Separate room with locked door. Elevator. Cheap ($1.50 soda)-fantastic vending. Microwave. I recommend for sure. Live freely

It is a place to stay with many amenities, pretty well located and affordable compared to other places. I had a room for myself. So I had privacy and rested. The mono smoking policy is amazing for people like me that are bothered everywhere with these disrespectful vaping and smoking nowadays.

The property is $65 a night for a reason. I was looking for a cheaper option cause the hotels are very expensive in the Waikiki area I wasn't comfortable staying at a hostel so I choose the dormitory. Several things that made me checkout with in 15 mins of checking in . 1 The building is old and run down. 2 The room did not have AC or tv. 3 They only give you 1 hand towel if you are going to the beach that isn't going to work unless you buy towels and or bring your own towels.4 When they said shared bathroom I was thinking shared with the room next door, no it's shared with the whole hallway . 1 shower 1 stall for 30 rooms. The bathroom was old looking I'm sure with germs. 5 The rules are that of a half way house no guest , no smoking , no drinking , no partying ....the only thing good about the place it had parking $10 a night . If $65 a night is all you can afford I suggest staying at a hostel and just get locks for your bags.

Amazingly affordable accommodations in the center of downtown Honolulu. Super safe and staff is very attentive to the needs of those who stay going out of their way to make one comfortable. I would recommend to all who in are grateful for such a gift of such affordable rates.

Unfortunately the hotel tried to double charge me they allowed hotels.com to take a payment and then when I arrive they said that the amount was wrong and that that would have to pay them directly and pay a higher rate for a nightly rate. I had to reach out to hotels.com to get a refund because I was double charged for the one night. I tried to stay the second night and I paid the front desk in full then when I went to check out to go to the airport they said I owed a $53 hotel tax but my receipt say that I was paid in full so I called the police at that point I was allowed to leave but the manager there Jack should be fired I've never seen you such terrible customer service and unprofessionalism in my life. Even other staff and employees there are trying to get the man fired because he is rude
