The place was acceptable other than mold issues and the surrounding area is not very nice at all past 5pm and was not welcoming at all

Entrance via an alley gate that did not lock, next door to a convenience store, lack of parking outside the property, smell of damp, sloping floor in front room, being over looked by neighbours, couldn’t have the blinds open at all, birds faeces all over the pathway, noisy air on down alleyway, sofa bed was not long enough for two, we are both under 5ft 7

Location was good

It was damp with mould growing up the walls! Unclean shower. Stained sofa. Property up an alley way, secured by a gate but the gate lock was broken. Felt unsafe leaving my child on sofa bed.

Locality is nice, and 24 hr parking lot nearby

We’ve stayed here before last year and it was lovely, so thought we’d stay again, but this time unsatisfied. The apartment was full of sand, on floor and even on couch. The couch was also full of stains from something and off putting smell through flat. Bathroom trash bin was not emptied and had someone’s sanitary napkins inside. Neighboring people had loud music playing till 1am. Was not like previous experience.

I wasn't too keen on the dark alley where the property was located.

Only a nice towels and clean bedding

I didn’t like anything about this apartment. From the moment we entered through the gate, I knew it wasn’t going to be what I had expected. In my opinion, the company or private owner misled us, as there was no mention in the listing that this was actually some kind of converted annex, not a real apartment. There was bird droppings all over the entrance area. Once inside the annex, you don’t feel comfortable or safe at all. The room has no window, which was not mentioned in the description. We travelled with our child, and I expected that my husband and I would sleep on the sofa while our child would sleep in the bedroom. However, I found the ceiling was made of a window, with no curtains, meaning anyone could look inside. There were blankets piled on the sofa, and when I lifted them, I didn’t even want to imagine what had happened there. It was filthy and unhygienic. The fridge was mouldy, the walls had holes, and the shower cabin was leaking through a gap at least the width of a finger. The floor was creaky, sloping, and full of holes. We couldn’t even have a proper meal together because the cutlery, including the teaspoons, was completely rusted. I’ve never in my life stayed in such an awful place booked through Booking.com, and I genuinely wonder where the good reviews came from. We are not very demanding guests, but my husband and I couldn’t sleep the whole night because we genuinely felt unsafe. On top of everything, loud music from a nearby pub kept us awake the entire night. Our daughter had to sleep on the floor, which I covered with every extra duvet I could find, because none of us could lie on the dirty, smelly sofa. So, in my opinion, the listing is completely misleading. There was no coffee-making set as stated in the description – unless they meant just the kettle.
