Old house; unfriendly/unhelpful owner; broken dishwasher; virtually no sound proofing, conversations from other rooms can be heard very loudly; strange odours in the kitchen; semi-sheer curtain does not cover the entire window; bed linens did NOT feel clean; and about three spiders per room because they have made a breeding ground of the patio; the outdoor pool is a swamp (they did not say that there was an outdoor pool available, but not HAVING a pool, and having a pond of rotting water right outside are two different things!); the advertised "garden area" is downright dismal; the hairdryer uses a foreign incompatible plug; a large dead insect was in the corner of the room we just moved into; decaf or filter coffee was provided but no plungers or filters; and baking cocoa powder (no hot chocolate) in the tea and coffee cupboard. Moreover, someone saw fit to rearrange the food on our designated fridge shelf then dump their left over sauce into our egg carton, which is, frankly, disgusting. When we notified the owner she said that maybe other tenants got the (labeled) shelves mixed up and spilt it by accident, which I'm interpretting as "get out of my face, it's not my problem." She also slammed every single door, some multiple times, everytime she came to clean. Not the best thing in the world to wake up to! Comically disappointing, will not be coming back. Would have liked far more honest photos, the photos did not represent the reality.

Very much needed a decent night's sleep after a very long travel day. Super comfortable bed & pillows. Quiet house with use of the kitchen which is handy. Slept great, good shower etc. No complaints.

Honestly there is nothing we would point out as a positive. The shower was good. Nice pressure

The descriptions are very misleading. The room smelt damp. The garden was shabby. Dishwasher was broken. We could hear everything from upstairs when we were down stairs. The beds are very hard.

We paid the night and then had to stay elsewhere
