Grand Chalet Aparthotel

We don’t recommend Grand Chalet Apart Hotel at all. The constant noise of roaring motor-bike and car engines that use the very nearby Brassov-Bran Castle road (at 20 metres from the appartment) as their personal racing circuit. Apart from dozens of loud barking dogs late at night. Sleeping with the windows closed (which didn’t make much of a difference) wasn’t really an option without air-conditioning. So we spent three hot and sleepless august nights enduring loud traffic and dog noise. Besides that we had to ask several times for pots, pans and other kitchen utensils to be able to cook. It took the owner two days to respond, forcing us to go out for dinner. But worst of all was that the owner wanted to charge us for 5 nights instead of 3 for administrative reasons. He did not withdraw cancelation costs, allthough we only changed the day of arrival (which was no problem, because there were enough appartments available) and asked him several times to do so. He then just stopped answering the phone and e-mails. Once again, we would not recommend this place to any-one. No empathy, no customer care, what a dissapointment.
