GBLocation was good
Shower was broken, didn’t provide adequate towels, some pillows didn’t even have pillow cases. The smell from the bathroom was horrendous, smelt like sewage. The front door had broken panes of glass in it and didn’t close properly without force. There was a radiator hanging of the wall in one room, broken uncovered plug in another room. One of the bedrooms didn’t have blinds and were provided with almost see through curtains that didn’t fully meet when closed. The bunk beds were wobbly and felt very unsafe. Contacted owner about initial shower not working, not enough towels provided and pillow case’s not provided and the foul smell, she could only respond via WhatsApp and sent over her son with one towel and three hand towels. Maintenance was arranged for the following morning but shower still didn’t work following this smell became worse, no follow up from owner to check in with problems or check in.

IEThe apartment is exactly as pictured. The place was plenty big enough to sleep our group of 4 adult females and 3 children (13,10,9) the couch could easily sleep 2 more if needed. 5 minute walk to main shopping streets
The entrance is a residential area which is a little tired and the lift does not work but this was not an issue for us

It was really hard to enter the apartment from the staircase as the door was so hard to open .we were outside in the bad weather for 20 minutes or more before we got in .Then, the amount of stairs to climb with a young child and a buggy was an absolute nightmare 😳 The box room was freezing cold and the other room had no blind or curtains on the windows which made it impossible to sleep 😢 the stairs were lethal because they were soaking wet that my neice slipped and hurt herself.
IEThere was absolutely nothing positive I could write about this property. We stayed no longer than 5minutes and had to find alternative accommodation at a huge cost. We had travelled over three hours with small kids and grandparents.
From the second we arrived to collect the key we were hesitant. The wall was filthy and then the surroundings looked unclean. To get to the entrance to the stairs was around an alleyway and down a few steps. The door was very hard to open at the bottom of the stairs and you were met with the most awful smell, paint chipping, water running down the walls, floor soaking with water. There were EIGHT flights of stairs with the elevator broken. My youngest child and mother with severe arthritis couldn’t even make it to the apartment. The only hint at anything in the ad was that the apartment ‘was on the upper floor’. No indication of the broken elevator of amount of flights of stairs. I now know I should have specifically asked. On getting to the top floor there was vomit at the top. The front door of the apartment did not open with the key left in the lockbox. It just pushed open and it looked like it had been kicked in many times. The cleaner did a good job of cleaning but the apartment itself was in need of a complete overhaul. Stains on the walls, scrapes on the tables, damp/stale smell, rust and mould around the shower, shower head falling off, no blackout blinds on the windows. We were beyond disappointed with this and had to find alternative accommodation straight away. I informed the host straight away and there was no acceptance of the issues with no offer of a refund….partial or full. Full payment was taken 5 days prior to our stay. This was a long awaited family getaway. Any reviews prior to my booking on 14th June were no longer available when I went back to see how I could have made the mistake of booking this place. Avoid at all costs. It is not fit for purpose at all.
