Very interesting and unique experience staying in a traditional ryokan. The room is stunning and comfortable. The location is perfect — right in the historical area. The staff are amazingly polite and helpful. Breakfast was in traditional Japanese style — very delicious and healthy.

A beautiful property with the nicest and most attentive staff. The hotel is smack in the middle of a very crowded tourist area which can be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for. Luckily it’s very quiet inside and extremely comfortable.

Snyggt och välordnat rum, bra läge nära de kända templen. Fantastisk kvällsmeny som ingick i priset.

Lite känsla av att vara på en båt, det fönster som fanns visade en innergård, ganska instängd känsla. Lite väl uppstyrt med skoavtagning i en trång lobby.

Struttura molto accogliente, nel tipico stile giapponese. Il personale era super accogliente, attento a ogni minimo particolare. Colazione ottima anche se per chi non ama il pesce a colazione non hanno altre opzioni (è comunque specificato nel momento della prenotazione) Camere grandi, con tutti i comfort necessari.

Location is close to popular spots and a lot of good food and shops.

Front doors close at midnight but I understand why and staff were very accommodating when we arrived past midnight on one occasion.
