Nearchou Boutique Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for one night during a recent visit to Crete for our Honeymoon. The quality of the renovation on this historic property is outstanding. As a boutique hotel the owners have invested their funds into creating an exceptional experience for guests. Every detail in the rooms and communal areas is so tastefully done - stylish and contemporary. We arrived at the airport and our pre-arranged transfer was there ready and waiting. It only transpired mid-journey that it was in fact the owner George driving us! He is absolutely outstanding as a hotelier and you can tell that he cares so deeply about hospitality and all the guests who come through his doors. He had even gifted us a nice bottle of wine for our honeymoon - although admittedly we were too tired to drink it, but the gesture was a very lovely and welcome one. Breakfast was, again, very tastefully done - served on a tiered stand in a 'Afternoon Tea' type format. All delicious. The room is enveloped by greenery and has a retractable roof for the summer months, a lovely setting to start the morning. We only stayed one night as we were spending the rest of the week at the newly opened IKOS Kissamos but would definitely consider staying longer in the future. We would suggest the hotel as a good base to explore Chania for a few nights which itself is a very lovely place to visit. The hotel also offers exceptional value for money. We couldn't believe the room rate also included breakfast! Thank you again George and team for your superb hospitality.

There are some rooms which immediately adjoin the main reception/check-in areas although due to the design of the hotel not sure how this could be avoided. The concierge leave in the evening meaning it still feels private.

Hôtel très beau et propre. Les chambres sont impeccables, le lit et les oreillers sont confortables, la salle de bain est très pratique. L'emplacement de l'hôtel permet de rejoindre le centre rapidement à pied, aucun soucis pour garer le véhicule dans la rue. L'équipe est très agréable et disponible. Le petit dejeuner est copieux et présente des produits locaux. Nous recommandons à 100%
