I had a very pleasant experience staying here. The location is truly special, especially being situated right on the water, which creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere unlike many other places I have stayed. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the view made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout my stay, and the facilities were exactly as expected. Everything felt well organised and comfortable, making it easy to properly relax and enjoy the surroundings. It is the kind of place that leaves you with a genuinely lovely impression after you leave.

"A lovely quirky and unique place to stay to explore Rochester and the Kent countryside and coastline"

We just loved this accommodation in every way. It was super quirky to be on such an amazingly old and historic lightship and to be afloat (at times!) on the Medway. The bed was super comfy with lovely views onto the river and Rochester. The en-suite bathroom has a full sized bath in it and a very good over bath shower. All toiletries were provided and the room was warm and extra heaters were available. The instructions for arrival were very clear and there is on site parking available. The walk into Rochester is along the river and takes about 30 minutes. Rochester old town is really beautiful and well worth exploring, especially the Cathedral. Jeremy was extremely welcoming.

There is some traffic noise from the Medway Bridge but this was not so noticeble within the bedroom and didnt impact us in anyway.
