Chans Lakeside Hideaway

The location was amazing but the property itself is something to be proud of.

Everything was really nice we felt right at home .Great location right in Stone Mountain. Clean linen and towels were great . Loved the decor throughout the apt . The beds were comfortable. I would most definitely stay here again.

It was a bit cold in Georgia, and it would have been great to have the apt warmer than what it was. We had to wait for the host to come and adjust the temperature. After the temperature was adjusted, it was comfortable.

This is a beautiful place. My sister & I enjoyed it,so beautifully decorated & such welcoming smell of lavender as you enter the doors.It was close to our other destination as well.Very nice place to stay.

Only thing although they were beautiful ,didnt like the cold bathrooms The bathrooms were very cold, Didn't see any heating or cooling unit( In the bathrooms.)We happen to be there on days that felt like they were the coldest days in the beginning of winter.

The location

No washer dryer which was a selling point for us. There is only a kitchenette but the welcome manual said that an oven could be provided if requested. We requested and they never brought it over. The air conditioner was “not to be touched”, it was never adjusted for us even though the outside temperature at night was 40 degrees. Showering in that cold was miserable. Someone from the owners home woke us up shouting “open the door” multiple times, it scared my mother who is 78yrs old.

I loved the entire location

There was no hot water. And I wish there was a walk way by the lake. But mainly just no hot water.
