The Danish Village or Mellieha Holiday Centre was a great base for our family of 5. The on-site facilities were top notch, with a great pool, bar, restaurant and link to the beach. The houses varied in quality and we had an old, tired one so I can only base our stay on that; many new ones looked good but the old one we had was in need of some improvements to make it more comfortable. Very functional, good sized, but a bit pricey for what it was.

Would expect luxury at this price point. Lodges very bare and beds clearly cheap. Sauna only open for a limited time and far too small for the number of guests on site. Bit misleading to say there are bbq facilities, not only are they communal and a long way from your lodge, they are extremely basic and exposed to the wind. Staff very friendly but I was quite disappointed with the stay, had it been half the price I would have thought it was appropriately priced.

The bungalow was very big, a lot of space, very modern inside, shower was great and kitchen very well equipped and modern. The property is very quite, it is very relaxing.

The bed was extremely soft, within two nights me and my husband got back pain. We stayed 4 nights and did not have one day of cleaning. It would not be needed everyday but I would say at least one day if people stay for 4 nights.

Nothing we did not like, but you need to be aware that it is a Danish holiday centre where 95% of guests are Danish and some information or events (e.g. yoga) are only provided in Danish.
